It's official, I'm going back to days at work!! :( I'm not overly excited but it will be a nice change, seeing I've been working nights for almost 5years. It's going to be different and hopefully I'll still be able to see and spend time with my future nephew and my nieces. I'm super close with my nieces and wish to be the same way with my nephew! I'm also not going to have much time to create. Which makes me sad. I'm on vacation the week before I start days and my old bear and I are going on 5 quilt store shop hop in the south central part of

Healthy Habits
So one thing I would like to accomplish this year is getting healthy and that includes getting some veggies in me. I despise vegetables for 2 reasons. 1st is there texture and kinda the taste. 2nd I was scared at a very young age by my Grams. My family used to eat at my Grams once a week or so. When you ate at Grams house you had to everything on your plate and you had to at least try everything that was made. My Grams always had a vegetable for dinner. One day I helped my Grams make brownies for dessert and we had all the fixings (hot fudge, whipped cream, cherries, nuts; yummy) so for dinner I ate everything but my green beans they made my stomach shiver and I gagged horribly but off course Grams made me sit there while everyone else got the brownie (I made) sundaes in front of me. When I refused to eat them and it was time to go she put the green beans in a baggie for me to take home. So since then I only eat at her house when there is soup and pasta [she don't make a veggie to go with it]. I'm not a huge veggie eater. I don't eat any raw vegetables. I can eat what ever is a soup as long as they are mushy. So I would like to incorporate some veggies into my daily food intake but the texture and fear of them is very hard for me.
After reading an article that I seen on Facebook "What Losing 100 Pounds Taught Me About How We Treat Overweight People" by Jasmin Singer and watching the Documentary she mentioned I have decided that I need to change some eating habits. The Documentary is about a guy who Juices for 60 days and then ate healthy afterwords. If you care to know more read the article and possibly watch the documentary.
I've purchased a Juicer and it will be be delivered by next Thursday. I plan to do a 7 day Juice fast and see how I do then I will incorporate a juice twice a day along with exercising. It's winter here and I don't like the cold so I will be using my Treadmill and DVDs I have. I would like to lose 25lbs by golf season and that's in May.
